Join the local celebration of bicycling! Gear up and ride to school, work, shop and play during National Bike Month! Throughout May, Chico organizations and individuals will host a variety of bike-related events and rides. Bike Month is for everyone. Whether you ride for fitness, transportation or for fun, you can find an event for you and maybe try something new.

Make it Social!
#MakeEveryRideCount with the Love To Ride app! Make it social by joining local riding challenges and log your rides to help cities make infrastructure decisions. You can even get your workplace involved and complete against other companies for riding points! With regular prizes and ways to track your routes and how much CO2 you save by not driving, this dynamic app is full of fun and challenging ways to keep you motivated to get out there on your bike!

Bike to School WeekNational Bike to School Week is May 12-15, 2025, and many Chico schools will be participating and encouraging kids to get out and ride! Participating schools will be set up to support and encourage biking, rolling, and even walking to schools.
We are working to revitalize this program to provide support to schools in Chico, CA to host their own Bike Week events! See the wonderful thank-you letters from the kids from past Bike Week Events! |
