Danielle brings seven years of experience in diverse nonprofit leadership and outreach to her role at Chico Velo. Her commitment to reducing vehicle miles travelled and encouraging more people-powered communities began along a 1,700 mile bike-packing trip from Chico, California to Bellingham, Washington in 2016. She holds a Chico State bachelor's degree in recreation and natural resource management and a climate protection certification from Bay Area Skyline College. Prior to Velo, she held leadership positions with Butte Environmental Council, the Butte College Sustainability Resource Center and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley. She's excited to utilize her skills and passion for community engagement to elevate Chico Velo’s impact.
