Chico Velo Programs & Projects

Active Chico Velo Programs include our Trailworks, Bike Valet and Adopt-A-Path programs. We are constantly looking for new ways to expand our capabilities and community impact!
In addition to these on-going projects, we also have various projects we are working on, such as the Colby Mountain Project,  which will add an additional 40 miles of hiking and biking trails to the Colby Mountain Recreation Area, and the Chico Bike Park, 5.5 acres of mountain biking skills courses!

Remembering Ed

Ed McLaughlin founded Chico Velo and was the organization's first Executive Director. He was an advocate and changemaker for early bicycle infrastructure and events in Chico and Northern California for many years. We work in honor of his legacy to encourage more people to experience the joy and benefits of bicycling.
