Commuting in Chico

Picture
Map courtesy of BCAG.org, click to expand.
The City of Chico has ample bike routes that provide access for bicyclists to commute to most parts of town. In 2023, The City of Chico created an Interactive Bike Route Map to help plan your commute. A definite perk of being a smaller town is that most of Chico is easily and quickly accessible by bike, and includes scenic bikeways such as moving through Bidwell Park or by the Teichert ponds. Enjoy our beautiful city, avoid the rush for parking, and take advantage of the many mental and physical health benefits by biking around Chico.

Chico was Gold Certified by the League for American Bicyclists from 2016 - 2020, view our Report Card here.
