Friesen Foundation Grants $50,000 for Trail Layout and Promotion
In 2020, the Friesen Foundation awarded $50,000 to the Colby Mountain Recreation Project to fund the layout of the proposed 40 mile network of non-motorized trails which constitute the heart of the project. In addition, the foundation sponsored the development of promotional materials to share the story of the project and build community engagement.
Friesen’s support has elevated the project from concept to reality with trail layout expected to begin in May 2021 through Trail Labs Co. Our project partners are incredibly grateful for their contribution and sincerely thank the Friesen Foundation for investing in the long-term sustainability of this region.
