Chico Velo invites all spooky spokes and cycle-paths to join us for the Veloween Ride & Costume Party Fundraiser on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 1 - 6 pm at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center in Chico, Ca. Get your ticket(s) today! Veloween is a benefit to support Chico Velo's advocacy and community programs.
Option 1: Ride + Costume Party - $30 (Children under 10 FREE) Kick off Veloween with a scenic 10-mile bike ride through Chico’s beautiful Bidwell Park and Downtown Fall colors or a fun 5-mile alternate that's great for all ages, all abilities, and all epic costumes! See the routes and details at the "ROUTES" button above. We encourage you to decorate your bikes and put on your best costumes to light up the town on Halloween weekend. We’ll have someone snapping shots for you at the Veloween spooky photo booth before and after the ride. Come solo or bring the whole crew - let's show everyone how much fun our bike community can have together then join us for the after-party.
Option 2: Post-ride Costume Party Only - $20 (Children under 10 FREE) For those who want to ride their own route or just ride to the after-party! We're bringing together all of the elements of a great fundraiser for a good cause and everyone's favorite local Halloween festival. The post-ride party will highlight live music, local food trucks, beer & wine, local silent auction, costume raffle, staffed photo booth, bike safety education, kids crafts and more. Come dressed in your best costume and get 2 FREE raffle tickets at the door for the chance to win sweet prizes from local companies. SAFETY INFORMATION & REFUND POLICY -Riders must wear a helmet at all times while on the route. -Maintain awareness and respect for other riders and general pedestrian/vehicle traffic. - Obeying traffic laws and using common sense are essential to a safe ride. -Costumes highly encouraged! -Decorated bikes with lights highly encouraged! - Chico Velo will not be offering refunds for this event.
