We will be continuing with brushing and restoration work in Upper Park, teaming up with the Chico Parks Division for Make a Difference Day in Lower Park and hosting a work session in Lassen National Forest to logout and and do tread work in the Jonesville area.

Sunday, September 25 (8 AM- Noon) Come out and help us celebrate Public Lands Day in Bidwell Park. We will be working at the top of North Rim Trail. Meet at Parking lot D (Monkey Face) and we will carpool into site. Saturday, October 1 (8 AM- Noon) This workday will kick off our brushing on Annie Bidwell Trail. Meet at Green Gate (top of 10 mile house road/ Hwy. 32) and we will hike down 10 mile house to access the site. Sunday, October 2 (8 AM- Noon) We will continue our weekend of brushing on Annie Bidwell Trail. Meet at Green Gate (top of 10 mile house road/ Hwy. 32) and we will hike down 10 mile house to access the site. Saturday, October 8 (8 AM- Noon) We will continue our brushing on Annie Bidwell Trail. Meet at Green Gate (top of 10 mile house road/ Hwy. 32) and we will hike down 10 mile house to access the site. Sunday, October 9 (9 AM-2 PM) We will be working up in Lassen National Forest brushing, logging out and doing some tread work on the Jonesville Canyon Trail (515). We will be meeting at 9 AM at the Jonesville Snowmobile Park and carpooling to the worksite. Saturday, October 15 Make a Difference Day (Location and time TBD). Lower Bidwell Park Sunday, October 16 (8 AM- Noon) We will be working on restoration projects around the Monkey Face Trail. Meet at Parking lot D (Monkey Face). Saturday, October 22 (8 AM- Noon) We will be working on brushing the bottom of B Trail. Meet at Parking lot D (Monkey Face) and we will carpool to the site. Saturday, October 29 (8 AM- Noon) We will finish our brushing on Annie Bidwell Trail. Meet at Green Gate (top of 10 mile house road/ Hwy. 32) and we will hike down 10 mile house to access the site. Sunday, October 30 (8AM- Noon) We will be working on restoration projects around the Monkey Face Trail. Meet at Parking lot D (Monkey Face). We ask trail work volunteers to bring gloves, water, snacks. Please come to volunteer days in proper clothing to work. Proper clothing includes closed toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeve shirt. We also have a limited number of loppers if you have your own please bring them. We will be hiking in for the workday. Heavy rain or wet trail conditions will cancel work.
