Our goal is to fully execute this event as planned while continuing to monitor all CDC, weather, and wildfire restrictions and recommendations as the event day approaches. We will maintain prompt communication and transparency if circumstances require us to change course. Again, your financial support is invaluable and greatly needed regardless of whether we can host this event as planned in November.
We will maintain safety measures related to COVID-19 and active wildfires in our region and recognize we our responsibility to uphold safety for our organization and our community. We completely understand that we all have our own levels of comfort around public gatherings. To keep this event as comfortable and as safe as possible, we will be primarily hosting the event outdoors at the Parkside Pavilion in Chico, CA. Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask if indoors or when appropriate physical distance cannot be maintained. We will also be abiding by any relevant CDC guidelines and safety recommendations in effect at the time of the event. We also recognize that circumstances beyond our control may determine our ability to host this event. We plan to update all parties and registrations with any changes as quickly as possible. These changes may include, but are not limited to, canceling the ride portion of the event, canceling the Lakeside Pavilion celebration, or canceling both the ride and the celebration.
Our main priority in all decisions continues to be the health and safety of our staff and volunteers as well as all of our supporters and community at large.
We deeply appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we do our best to continue to offer events and resources for our community.
