100 Miles (94.1 miles & 828' elevation)
Set off for your journey with a 34-mile loop to the north through old walnut orchards between Gridley and the Feather River. At the northernmost part of the ride, look for mine tailings from the gold rush era along the Feather River and Thermalito Afterbay. You'll take a quick rest stop back at the Fairgrounds, then join the 60 milers for the scenic Sutter Buttes loop (see below). 60 Miles (60.7 miles & 570' elevation)
This is the most popular route for this event. As you get some good mileage and all the scenery of the Orchards and Sutter Buttes. This is the perfect ride if you're upping your riding game, but not quite ready for a century! You'll roll out towards the scenic 40 mile loop and pass Gray Lodge Wildlife Refuge. Lunch will be waiting at about 30 miles in the town of Sutter, and then you'll tackle a few rollers around the Sutter Buttes before heading back to the Fairgrounds. 40 Miles (42.1 miles & 494' elevation)
Circling the great Sutter Buttes could be very romantic! This route gets you up close to the scenery without taking you too far. After checking in at the Fairgrounds, drive to the start at the Gray Lodge parking lot on Rutherford Rd. Lunch will be served in the town of Sutter at 20 miles into the ride. Then you'll tackle the rollers before finishing the ride and driving back to the Fairgrounds for the post-ride dinner. From the Fairgrounds - Drive to the start (SEE MAP HERE.)
