Another investor of mutual interest, BCAG is the regional transportation authority, and supports Chico Velo through event sponsorship and serves on a number of local and regional projects together.

The Butte County Department of Public Health Injury Prevention works closely with Chico Velo through bicycle safety and education. We partner up for grant projects, bike-giveaways, helmet pop ups; we support each other for skills courses and clinics, and BCPH hosts an all ages, wildly popular Bike Rodeo at the Wildflower Ride and Festival.
Chico Area Recreation and Park District is a city run organization dedicated to community engagement, offering activities and programs for people of all ages. They work side by side with Chico Velo to promote health and wellness, by not only offering Chico Velo's Bike Valet service at their events, but also bringing games to Chico Velo's fundraisers, such as the Wildflower Century!
In 2025, REI Co-OP gave Chico Velo a grant award through their cooperative action fund. This grant money will support our programs and efforts in the community.
